What began as Seoul High Technical School in 1955 transformed into Deogil Electronics Technical High School. It stands before us today. This school has a rich history.
Deogil Electronics Technical High School is located in Guro-gu, Seoul. It is a private high school. It strives to instill integrity, faith, and service in its students.
Initially established in Yongsan-gu, Namyeong-dong, as a one-year program, the school relocated. In 1979, it moved to Guro-gu, Oryu-dong. The curriculum expanded to a three-year industrial program. This move marked a significant step in the school’s development.
In 1982, the school’s organizational structure changed. It became the Jungmoon Academy. This change reflected its growth.
A pivotal moment arrived in 1994. The school was renamed Deogil Electronics Technical High School. It opened with 18 classes. This renaming signified its focus on electronics and technology.
Deogil Electronics Technical High School was designated as a specialized industrial high school in electronics in 2013. This designation underscored its commitment to specialized education.
Yoon Jeong-han assumed the role of principal in 2022. In February 2023, the school held its 26th graduation ceremony. Sixty students graduated. The total number of graduates reached 3,795. In March 2023, the 29th entrance ceremony was held.
The school has two departments. These are the Department of Electronics and the Department of Robot Drone.
