Was it a divine decree or a stroke of luck that led to the establishment of \uace0\ucc99\uad50\ud68c? We stand before its doors now. This church is more than bricks and mortar. It is a testament to faith and community.

\uace0\ucc99\uad50\ud68c began its journey on October 9 1954. Lee Wan-ho owned the land. It measured 139 pyeong. Kim Ja-young provided financial support. They established a worship place. The early days saw humble beginnings.

In 1956, the church erected a 20-pyeong building made of clay bricks. By 1958, they appointed Byeon Gwang-seok as a full-time evangelist. Then in November, \uace0\ucc99\uad50\ud68c replaced the clay bricks. They used cement blocks to rebuild the sanctuary. This also became the first educational building.

The church experienced growth. In 1961, the sanctuary expanded by eight pyeong. On November 18 1962, Hong Seong-rin became the first Senior Pastor. Reverend Kim Jeong-ok later succeeded him.

\uace0\ucc99\uad50\ud68c continued to acquire land. In April 1964, they purchased 165 pyeong of land. In 1965, they acquired an additional 56 pyeong. The congregation gathered on June 6 1966, for a groundbreaking service. This marked the beginning of the second sanctuary construction.

April 10 1967, saw the completion of a 60-pyeong sanctuary. It hosted dedication worship. This was also the third educational building. On June 18, Kim Je-geon became the first appointed Reverend.

In July 1968, Lee Nam-ju became a female evangelist. On November 24 1968, Gu Gyo-cheol became the third Senior Pastor. \uace0\ucc99\uad50\ud68c expanded its property. In April 1969, it purchased 14 pyeong of land.

A new sanctuary was completed on October 3 1970. In June 1971, the third educational building expanded by 25 pyeong. Land acquisition continued in 1972. Park Chang-ha was appointed as an evangelist in May.

In 1973, the congregation resolved to construct a third sanctuary. They started fundraising. In March 1974, \uace0\ucc99\uad50\ud68c acquired 250 pyeong of land. Kim Myeong-su, Kim Tae-won, and Ahn Seung-hwan became the fourth elders.

Construction began on the new church building on October 9 1976. Kim Jong-ik was appointed as an evangelist in 1977. Ryu Jeong-yoon was appointed as an evangelist in March. Lee Hae-seong became an educational evangelist in April.

The new sanctuary opened on August 12 1979. Kim Jae-woo became the fifth Senior Pastor in November. This new building could accommodate many more worshippers. Seong Kyung-ho, Kim Chang-wook, and Yoo Byeong-ho became the sixth elders.
