“Born in 1971 in Chiba prefecture.” That’s the beginning of the story of Kappo Aoyagi. This is not just any restaurant. It is the culinary creation of Mr. Aoyagi.
Kappo Aoyagi is his dream realized. His father provided in-flight meals for VIPs. Mr. Aoyagi saw his father’s work. He boarded government airplanes. He saw him as head Japanese food chef. He served the emperor. He cooked for other VIPs. Becoming a chef was natural.
After graduating, he joined Tsukiji Tamura. He worked at Tokyo Tamura in Kobe. It is now known as Kobe Tamura. He worked there for 15 years. He was vice head chef. He gained experience at a Japanese restaurant in Sannomiya Osaka. He opened his own restaurant December 7 2011. Now he is the owner and head chef of Kappo Aoyagi.
