“The largest ecological rainforest in China”. That’s quite a claim isn’t it? Yet here we stand at Yulin Xian Zong in Guangzhou.
Yulin Xian Zong is a major attraction. It opened on October 1st. Many locals queued to be among the first to see it. They wanted to experience close contact with exotic birds and animals.
Located within the Chimelong Wildlife World. Yulin Xian Zong boasts tens of thousands of square meters of outdoor forest. A German design company created it.
The area features innovative experiences. There are mini-glass viewing passages. A hidden bird exhibit is another highlight. Suspended wooden栈道 complete the experience.
The tour route follows the rainforest’s layers. First you see creatures of the forest floor. These include anteaters. Moving along the mountain path you see the richest animal life in the trees. These animals include ring-tailed lemurs toucans and marmosets. Finally you reach the canopy with its golden lion tamarins. Yulin Xian Zong leads the way in China. It leads in both viewing style and scale.
Earlier zoos only showed single species. Yulin Xian Zong is special. It presents multiple species in their natural states. Every animal has its original habitat recreated.
For example explore the giant anteater’s nest. Visitors can enter the caves. They can closely watch them feed on ants with their tongues.
The幽谷灵猴 area mixes indoor exhibits and nature. Visitors get close to different rare monkey species.
Walk on the suspended wooden path for a unique view. Watch lemurs and other monkeys climb skillfully. They perform acrobatics in the trees.
In “mini world” cross through glass tunnels. See the tiny monkeys playing above. The “toucan flying sky” area has a huge hidden sky net. Birds fly freely. They might even land on your hand.
A manager said at Yulin Xian Zong barriers disappear. People and animals can interact closely.
During Golden Week Chimelong Tourist Resort hosted almost 100000 visitors. They all wanted to visit Yulin Xian Zong.
