Established in the early Meiji era, Kadoma City Kadoma Elementary School is one of the oldest schools. It stands as a testament to time. This public elementary school is located in Kadoma City. It is more than just a school. It’s a place of history.

Kadoma City Kadoma Elementary School was founded in 1872. It started as the Senken Ninth District Gakko. The school has seen many changes. In 1873 it was renamed the 72nd Elementary School. Later in 1878 it was renamed Kadoma Elementary School.

In 1887 it became Kadoma Jinjo Elementary School. The year 1889 was significant. A new school building was built. October 19th became the school’s anniversary. This date is celebrated every year.

In 1896 the name changed again. It became Kitakawachi Kadoma Jinjo Elementary School. By 1910, a higher elementary school was added. The school then became Kitakawachi Kadoma Jinjo Higher Elementary School.

The year 1934 brought disaster. A typhoon destroyed the wooden school building. Tragically, many children died. Many more were injured.

In 1941, the school was renamed Kadoma National School. This change was due to the national school order. After the war in 1947, it became Kadoma Town Elementary School.

Kadoma City Kadoma Elementary School got its current name in 1956. This was after the surrounding villages merged. Kadoma became a town with multiple elementary schools. In 1963 Kadoma became a city. The school’s name changed to Kadoma City Kadoma Elementary School.

Over the years, the school has grown. Four other elementary schools branched out. This happened because the number of children increased. These schools included Kadoma Kita Elementary School. Kadoma Chuo Elementary School. Hama Elementary School. Hayami Elementary School.

Today Kadoma City Kadoma Elementary School continues to educate. Its address is 4-1 Yanagimachi, Kadoma City, Osaka. The school aims to nurture students. They should learn independently. They should have dreams. They should build their futures.

The school’s location is convenient. It is a four-minute walk from Kadoma City Station. The school is known for its history. Kadoma City Kadoma Elementary School celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2022.
