In 1996, as part of the Fu’nan River restoration project, they dismantled the damaged bridge and commissioned a redesign. This redesign sought to create a three-arch replica that incorporated historical and commercial features. The project was completed in August 2003, resulting in the modern Anshun Langqiao, a bridge that harmoniously blends history, commerce, and culture.
