Is it possible to find a large shrine in this area? Within the same grounds as the Harbor Ward Disaster Memorial, lies the captivating Kinkaku-ji Isonori Jizo.
The Kinkaku-ji Isonori Jizo’s hall is quite large. Four Jizo statues are enshrined inside. The Jizo in the center at the back shows signs of repair with its head reattached. This tells a story of resilience.
To the right stands a Jizo with dignified features. To the left, you can see pockmarks on another Jizo. In front on the right, the enshrined Jizo is an oddly shaped stone. These details add character to the Kinkaku-ji Isonori Jizo.
