His son, Itami Tadayasu, served Hideyoshi. After Hideyoshi’s death, he belonged to Kuroda Nagamasa. Tadayasu died in the Battle of Sekigahara.

One branch of the Itami clan became Daimyo. Itami Yasunao’s lineage achieved this status. The Itami clan’s story reflects the tumultuous times.
