Stepping back in time, imagine Osaka in 1947. The Yodogawa Church, or Yodogawa Kyokai, began its journey as a branch of the Tenrikyo Church in Uenosaka. It wasn’t an easy start. Eleven years passed, a period of growth and development, before the Yodogawa Church officially stood on its own in 1958. This is where it has remained, a cornerstone of faith in the community. The Yodogawa Church has been serving the community ever since. It is more than just a building. It is a place where people gather. They come together to worship, to learn, and to support each other. Today, the Yodogawa Kyokai continues its mission, offering Sunday services, a Sunday school, and Bible study. It also hosts various events and gatherings throughout the year, fostering a sense of community among its members. Feel free to step inside and experience the peaceful atmosphere for yourself. You might find yourself drawn to the warmth and welcoming spirit of the Yodogawa Church.
