Now thanks to this magnificent structure the travel time has been slashed to under 30 minutes. This monumental achievement significantly improved transportation and boosted economic ties.
The project cost a significant US$4.83 billion. Yet the return on investment is undeniable. The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link carries eight lanes of traffic. It handles an estimated 100,000 vehicles daily.
