This memorial is located in Guangzhou. Specifically, it is in Panyu District’s Nan Cun Town, Liren Dong Village. You’ll find it on Ai Sha Gang Hill in \u690d\u5730\u5e84. Behind the monument lies the \u690d\u5730\u5e84 Anti-Japanese War Martyrs Cemetery.
The \u690d\u5730\u5e84\u6297\u65e5\u6218\u6597\u70c8\u58eb\u7eaa\u5ff5\u7891 was first built in 1956. It was rebuilt in December 1992. The monument faces southeast. It is constructed with granite. The base covers 160 square meters.
The monument has three tiers. At the top, there is a four-layered pedestal. It is made of red granite. A memorial stands on top of this pedestal. The memorial is eight meters high. Its body is divided into four sections. These sections narrow gradually. The bottom two sections are square. The top two are cylindrical. A “pearl” adorns the top.
In the middle of the second section, you will see gilded characters. They spell out “\u690d\u5730\u5e84\u6297\u65e5\u6218\u6597\u70c8\u58eb\u7eaa\u5ff5\u7891”. Below this inscription is the name “Zheng Shaokang”.
