Slipping through time, imagine 2024. The Shenzhen Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau unveils plans for a new project. This project focuses on the Guihua Overpass Bridge. The Guihua Overpass Bridge is located near the border of Shenzhen and Dongguan. The bridge will be a vital part of the Shenzhen Outer Ring Expressway. The project encompasses road works, bridge and culvert engineering, and utility engineering. It will impact a significant area near Guihua Village in Guanlan Street, Longhua District. The project will occupy a substantial portion of the basic ecological control line, covering 114,905.04 square meters. According to the “Shenzhen Basic Ecological Control Line Management Regulations”, this project fits the criteria for municipal public facility construction. A 30-day public consultation period, from August 24th to September 22nd, 2024, was opened for public feedback. This included suggestions and opinions about the Guihua Overpass Bridge project. Details were posted on the websites of the Shenzhen Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau and its Longhua Management Bureau. The information was also displayed at the Longhua Management Bureau office on Qinghu Road. For inquiries, citizens could contact Mr. Wu at 0755-23335809.
