Established in 1951 Settsu City’s Third Junior High School stands proudly. Its history is woven into the fabric of this community. It wasn’t always here. Before its current location the school had a different home. It originated from a split from Settsu City’s First Junior High School. This happened in 1951. The school’s first principal was Mr. Matsuoka. He oversaw the school’s initial growth. He guided its early development.

The school’s initial student body numbered 639 students. That’s a lot of students for a brand-new school. They filled the classrooms and hallways. Their energy filled the air. This was an exciting time. It was the dawn of a new chapter in Settsu’s education. The school’s grounds were not as large as today. Expansion was a priority.

Over the years Settsu City’s Third Junior High School experienced many changes. The school building grew. New facilities were added. Construction projects added a gymnasium. A library was constructed as well. The school grounds were expanded. The initial 12667 square meters of space were not enough. It now encompasses 12667 square meters for the building itself. Another 11946 square meters are designated for outdoor facilities. This extra space allows for sports fields and other outdoor activities.

The principal’s office is a place of quiet authority. It is a central location in the school. It has witnessed years of administrative decisions. It reflects the dedication of those who have shaped the school. It has seen countless students pass through. Each student has a story. Each story contributes to the overall narrative.

Settsu City’s Third Junior High School is more than just a school. It’s a living testament. It’s a testament to educational growth and perseverance. It embodies the community’s dedication to learning. It remains a vital part of Settsu’s educational landscape. It continues to shape young lives. It shapes the future of this community. The legacy of Settsu City’s Third Junior High School lives on. Its story continues to unfold.
