\u5e38\u7fd4\u5553\u5149\u5b66\u5712\u4e2d\u5b66\u6821\u30fb\u9ad8\u7b49\u5b66\u6821’s history began in 1957. It started as a Catholic boys’ school. The school was known for its rugby team. The team was called the “Royal Blues.” They won the national high school rugby championship seven times.
Due to declining enrollment the school partnered with Josho Gakuen in 2007. The school’s name changed in 2008. It became co-educational at that time.
In 1950, Moriguchi City had only one high school. The city’s first mayor wanted more schools. The Catholic Church responded. They bought land despite limited funds.
The school’s first headmaster said private schools are about education not buildings. He fundraised in America Mexico and the Dominican Republic. He bought land and built the school. The first year had only ten students.
