The school was initially a branch of Itami City Tennojigawa Junior High School. It officially became independent on November 4th of the same year. The school song and emblem were unveiled at the opening ceremony. A defining moment in the school’s history came during the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake on January 17, 1995. The school building and gymnasium suffered damage. However, the spirit of Itami City Aramaki Junior High School remained unbroken. This disaster underscored the importance of disaster preparedness, which is now an integral part of the school’s curriculum. From earthquake drills to safety lectures, students learn to be self-reliant and to work together in times of crisis. Itami City Aramaki Junior High School has a rich student life.
