Established in 1954, Neyagawa City Tenth Junior High School has a rich history. The school, originally part of Neyagawa City Seventh Junior High, became independent and opened its doors as the Tenth Junior High. The first principal, Tadashi Tanaka, led the school in its formative years. Imagine the excitement and anticipation as students and staff moved to the current location in 1955. The main school building, gymnasium, and athletic field were all completed. A significant milestone came in 1956 when the school was designated a “Junior High School Student Guidance Research Promotion School” by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). In 1957, the school received a prestigious visit from the Chinese People’s Republic Ministry of Education and the Japanese Ministry of Education.
