In March 1933, it received an award from the Minister of Education for its excellent school lunch survey results. In the same year, in October, the village transitioned to city status, and the school was renamed Kashiwara City Kashiwara East Elementary School. The school also received recognition from the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Bank of Japan for its excellent children’s banking practices. Throughout the years, Kashiwara City Kashiwara East Elementary School continued to evolve. A gymnasium and auditorium were added, enhancing the learning environment. The school received awards and commendations for its overall educational achievements, its health and physical education programs, and its commitment to community engagement.
