“The oldest wooden building in Kyoto city stands before you”. That’s quite a statement. Welcome to Daihōon-ji Temple also known as Senbon Shakadō.
Daihōon-ji is a Buddhist temple. It resides in Kamigyō-ku Kyoto Japan. This temple is affiliated with Shingon-shū Chizan-ha Buddhism.
