Opened in 1961, Neyagawa City Third Junior High School stands before us, a testament to the city’s commitment to education. Did you know Neyagawa City Third Junior High School wasn’t always here? It began its journey at Neyagawa City First Junior High School. Imagine the bustling hallways shared between two schools! Neyagawa City Third Junior High School was established as the third public junior high school in Neyagawa. It was created by splitting off from the first and second junior high schools to accommodate the growing student population. The school finally moved to its current location in 1962. A key part of the community, Neyagawa City Third Junior High School serves students from the surrounding neighborhoods. These include Kori Kitano-cho, Kori Shinmachi, Kori Minami-no-cho, Kotobuki-cho, Matsubara-cho, Otogi-cho, Taiga-cho, Taiga Nishi-cho, and Midori-cho. Part of Ishizu Minami-cho is also within the school’s zone. Over the years, the school’s appearance has evolved. Recently, the fence underwent a transformation, going from a stone base with green accents to a more open, white fence. This change, while subtle, gives the school a fresh and modern feel. The graduating classes of Neyagawa City Third Junior High School have contributed to the city’s vibrant tapestry. One notable alumnus is Tatsuya Hakui, a professional wrestler.
