Hotoji Temple Cemetery is a municipal cemetery. It is managed by Kyoto City. The recruitment period for users is from November 18, 2024. Plots range from 1 square meter to 1.8 square meters. The usage fee is about 500,000 yen per square meter. The annual management fee is about 1,990 yen per square meter. Applicants must reside in Kyoto City and can only apply for one plot per household. People who already use other Kyoto City cemeteries cannot apply. Corporations are not eligible.
