In 1925, Toyosaki Town was incorporated into Osaka City. Consequently, the school’s name changed to Osaka Municipal Toyosaki Daisan Elementary School.
The impact of World War II was severe. In 1941 the school was renamed Osaka Municipal Toyosaki National School. In 1944, students were evacuated to rural areas. This was a common practice during the war. Families were separated for safety. Sadly in 1945, air raids destroyed the school building.
After the war, in 1946, the school was integrated with Toyosaki Honjo National School. It was temporarily closed. The community rallied. In 1954, it reopened as a branch of Toyosaki Honjo Elementary School. Finally, in 1955, it regained its independence. It was renamed Osaka Municipal Toyosaki Elementary School.
