The area around Shinodai Elementary was experiencing a boom in residential development. This resulted in a surge in the child population, outgrowing the capacity of existing schools like Yodogawa City Yodogawa Elementary School. Shinodai emerged as a solution, a new branch designed to nurture young minds. Interestingly, the growth didn’t stop there. Just five years later, in 1977, another school, Yodogawa City Koya Elementary School, branched off from Shinodai. This highlights the rapid development and expansion of the surrounding area. The school’s motto, “Children matching, transmitting, and aiming high,” speaks volumes about its educational philosophy. It aims to create well-rounded individuals. Students are encouraged to be proactive and to strive for excellence. Another of the school’s guiding principles focuses on creating “a beautiful, lively, and promising school.” This embodies the desire to cultivate a positive and stimulating learning environment.
