Chiba Park is Chiba City’s crown jewel a vibrant green space. It stands where a railway workshop once operated. This workshop was vital for the Imperial Japanese Army. Imagine the steam the clang the sheer industry of this place. The railway’s first connecting branch was built here in 1908. This marked the beginning of Chiba Park’s transformation.

The workshop was later expanded. Another branch line opened in 1918. The original site was renamed the First Connecting Branch. Soldiers maintained the railway.
