Masjid Livaaul Isalam initially known as Masjid Baan Bangcheelao was established in 1950. It started on land donated by Mr Mamhood Billabdulah. This land was once a rubber plantation. Many migrant workers lived here. They worked as rubber tappers. A cholera outbreak devastated the area. Local elders shared that a parsley and liquor mixture helped cure the illness. This possibly explains the unique name Bangcheelao.
The original mosque underwent significant renovations in 1975. This was during the time M R Kukrit Pramoj served as Prime Minister. The renovation cost 80000 baht. In 2001 the mosque was officially renamed Masjid Livaaul Isalam. Its official registration number is 15. Its land deed number is 80784. The mosque covers 4176 square meters. This land was acquired from Sariya Property Co Ltd in 2005.

The current Imam Somdet Mhunkan continues this legacy. He leads the congregation and also runs a community Islamic school. This school teaches children and adults.
