Dhonburi Rajabhat University, like its fellow Rajabhat Institutes, gained the power to award not just bachelor’s degrees, but also prestigious postgraduate degrees, including doctorates. The “Rajabhat University Act” further solidified their role, formally transforming them into independent universities.
