As the city grew, so did the temple. Lok Nayak Bhawan, a prominent government building, rose nearby. The government allocated land, allowing Shri Gopal Mandir to flourish. Over the years, the temple expanded. The Radha Krishna Darbar was renovated in 1971, breathing new life into this sacred space. In 1988, Maa Sherawali, a fierce and protective deity, found her home here. Just a few years later, in 1992, the Shri Gauri Shankar Dham was established, adding another layer of devotion to the temple.
