Ammar’s dedication earned him great respect. Prophet Muhammad said of him. “He invites them to Paradise while they invite him to hell.” Ammar ibn Yasir fought in the Battle of Badr. He fought in the Ridda wars. He served as governor of Kufa. He remained a devout follower of Caliph Ali.
