Sheikh Umar Falata taught at the Prophet’s Mosque for over 25 years. His lessons occurred five times a day from 1370 AH until his death. His teaching location was near the pulpit.

Umar Falata also worked at the Islamic University. He was responsible for the Center for Prophetic Sunnah.

Sheikh Umar Falata performed Hajj many times. He only missed one Hajj due to illness.

Sheikh Ibn Baz praised Umar Falata. He acknowledged his knowledge. He also recognized his dedication to Medina.
