King Fahd’s foundation announced a collaboration with the General Authority for Endowments. Together they supported prayers at the Jama Al-Malaz Al-Awwal during Ramadan. This happened after the completion of the mosque’s maintenance. They renovated its furnishings. This shows a continuous commitment to preserving its sanctity.

King Fahd bin Abdulaziz ordered the construction of Jama Al-Malaz Al-Awwal in 1414 AH. It covers an area of approximately 9,750 square meters. The mosque can accommodate thousands of worshippers. There are dedicated spaces for both men and women. The mosque has four entrances. These lead to prayer areas and accommodations for the Imam and Muezzin.

Prince Muhammad bin Fahd oversaw the project. He was the deputy chairman of the board of trustees at the King Fahd Charity Foundation. The foundation supports the mosque’s maintenance and upkeep. This ensures that Jama Al-Malaz Al-Awwal remains a beautiful place. It is a place for spiritual reflection for generations to come.
