The older son of the Sukhovo-Kobylin family, Alexander, met Louise Simon-Dimanche in 1841. She became his wife a year later. Alexander admired her. He appreciated her deep respect for his mother and sister. Alexander and Louise lived in Moscow. Each summer, they spent time in Voskresenskoye. Alexander found happiness here.
