The bridge’s supports are massive. They are made of solid concrete. Granite faces them. The facades are covered with metal sheets. The bridge has a slight skew. Its calculated span is 31 meters. The total length is 41.2 meters. Its width stretches to 35 meters. The roadway includes five lanes.

He was the commander of the 3rd Leningrad Partisan Brigade. During World War II, his brigade took out thousands of German soldiers and officers. They also destroyed a lot of enemy equipment. German died in 1943 in the village Zhitnitsy of the Pskov region. He was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
