A popular vote transformed Yanino-1 from a village into an urban-type settlement in 2016. This change also elevated Zanevskoye to urban settlement status. Ladozhskaya station, a metro station in Saint Petersburg, is just a short distance away, with buses readily available. The railway line connecting Saint Petersburg’s Ladozhsky railway station and Mga also passes close by, further enhancing connectivity. Today, Yanino-1 thrives as a significant part of Zanevskoye urban settlement. Its population exceeds 21,000, a testament to its growth and appeal.
