It is near Krasnoputilovskaya Street and Chervonnogo Kazachestva. This solemn ground occupies an area of 0.76 hectares. It provides a final resting place for 1532 soldiers and officers. These brave men fell during the Siege of Leningrad.

The cemetery was founded in 1941. It became a place of burial for those who died defending the city. Among those interred here are Heroes of the Soviet Union. Their acts of bravery and selflessness are forever immortalized.

The majority of the identified soldiers were “Rakoviny” or mortally wounded.

He was a lieutenant who perished in 1942. Savinykh Vitaly Alexandrovich was a senior lieutenant of communications for the NKVD. He lived from 1921 to 1942. Lebedev B.N. was a student at the Electrotechnical Institute. He was born in 1922 and died in 1942. Sheide P.R. was also a lieutenant who died in 1942. Volostnykh Valery was a Red Army soldier. He was born in 1923 and died in 1941. Krasnoshapka Nikolai Markovich was a sergeant and order bearer. He was born in 1919 and died in 1942. Pikeev A.V. was a lieutenant who perished in 1943. Salnikov Alexander Vladimirovich was a Guards Senior Lieutenant. He lived from 1921 to 1943. Korzun Andrei Grigoryevich was a Hero of the Soviet Union. He was awarded the title posthumously on February 21, 1944.

Today, \u042e\u0436\u043d\u043e\u0435 \u0432\u043e\u0438\u043d\u0441\u043a\u043e\u0435 \u043a\u043b\u0430\u0434\u0431\u0438\u0449\u0435 is under the care of OOO “Funeral Home “Yugo-Zapad”. Memorial days are observed with the laying of wreaths on specific dates. These dates include January 18 and 27. Also February 23, May 9, June 22, September 8 and December 9.
