“Looking for the perfect space to entertain and socialize or total privacy?” That’s the question The Ridge at Emory Graduate Housing seems to answer. This is more than just a place to live. Emory Graduate Housing is a launchpad for your academic and professional journey.
Emory University recognized the need for dedicated graduate housing. Emory Graduate Housing created The Ridge. It is designed to foster community and support student success. Ayers Saint Gross designed the two-phased housing project. It specifically targets graduate and professional students. The project includes a parking deck and a community center.
Completed in two phases, The Ridge offers 1,000 beds. Students can choose from studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. This allows students to select housing based on their preferences. They can choose based on size, price, and single versus double occupancy.
The Ridge at Emory Graduate Housing fosters a strong sense of community. First-floor community areas encourage interaction and collaboration. Residents enjoy access to a fitness center. Open study areas offer quiet spaces for focused work. A communal kitchen is also available.
American Campus Communities partnered with Emory. They delivered this project through a public-private partnership. The on-campus complex reflects Emory’s wooded setting. It is a short walk to graduate academic programs, libraries, and labs. Campus trails and public transportation are easily accessible.
Juneau Construction Company was also involved in bringing Emory Graduate Housing to life. The building has 535 beds in 432 units. The Ridge is within walking distance of Emory’s graduate programs. Amenities include a fitness center, community garden, and grilling stations. Private study rooms, lounges, and co-working spaces enhance the living experience. The precast parking deck offers over 400 spaces. The project is on track for LEED Gold Certification.
The Ridge offers 11.5-month leases. These run from August 1st through July 21st. Applying is easy. Current and incoming Emory graduate students can apply online. You’ll need your Net ID and graduate program information.
