It’s a living testament to the power of shared belief. It’s a place where lives intersect, stories intertwine, and the spirit of Christianity thrives. Pecan Valley Church of Christ, located at 268 Utopia Lane, warmly welcomes newcomers and seasoned believers alike. The church follows the teachings of the Bible, accepting it as divinely inspired and infallible. They don’t adhere to any man-made creeds, seeking guidance solely from scripture. Pecan Valley Church of Christ offers a variety of services throughout the week. Sunday mornings begin with Bible study at 10:00 am, followed by the main worship assembly at 11:00 am. A second service takes place on Sunday afternoons at 2:00 pm. For those seeking midweek spiritual nourishment, Wednesday evenings host Bible study at 7:00 pm. Leading this congregation is Evangelist Jesse Garcia. Born in Corpus Christi, Jesse’s journey of faith began in 1979. He discovered his passion for preaching early in life, influenced by his father’s dedication to God. In 1998, he honed his skills at a preacher’s seminar led by Luis Torres. Jesse and his wife, Delia, have dedicated years to teaching Bible classes. Their journey took them to Lake Jackson, where Jesse established a thriving Spanish-speaking congregation. In 2006, they moved to San Antonio and joined the Grissom Road Church of Christ. After twelve years there, Jesse answered the call to serve Pecan Valley Church of Christ in 2017. His message resonates through the church, echoing Psalm 62:7, “In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, and my refuge is in God.” Pecan Valley Church of Christ isn’t merely a place of worship. It’s a beacon of faith, a testament to the enduring power of community and belief. As you stand before it, remember the countless stories woven into its foundation. Remember the lives touched and the spirits uplifted. This is more than just a church. This is a testament to the power of faith.
