This 350,000-square-foot structure, standing tall at 10 stories, is more than just steel and glass. It’s a testament to scientific advancement, health innovation, and education. The Petit Science Center houses a diverse range of programs. These include biology, chemistry, nursing, nutrition, physical and respiratory therapies, and public health. It also serves as the home of the Neuroscience Institute, a hub for cutting-edge research. The center’s namesake, Parker H. “Pete” Petit, a Georgia State alumnus, made a leadership gift that enabled its creation. Petit believed in the power of education.
