Dhofar University was established in January 2004 by Ministerial Decree No. 5/2004. The university started its operations in September 2004. Dhofar University is located in Salalah. Dhofar University consists of four colleges. These are the College of Arts & Applied Sciences, the College of Commerce & Business Administration, the College of Engineering and the College of Law. Dhofar University currently offers 39 programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Instruction is mainly in English. Some programs are offered in Arabic.
