They embraced the local community, participated in local initiatives, and Russ even became the president of the Grenada Hotel Association, later receiving an OBE for his dedication. Magdalena, ever passionate about her Mexican heritage, became the Honorary Consul of Mexico in Grenada and a driving force behind the island’s burgeoning chocolate industry. She even founded the Grenada Chocolate Fest, a testament to her love for the island’s flavorful bounty.
