Here on this very mountain a small house became a symbol of resistance. It was the hideout of three young EPONites. Dimitris Avgeris Thanos Kiokmenidis and Costas Foltopoulos. These brave teenagers fought fiercely against the German forces. They faced over 200 armored soldiers. Their battle lasted until late afternoon.
