This unique partnership aimed to create a space where illusion and reality intertwine. The D’Luck Cinematic Theatre seamlessly blends stage performances with projection mapping technology. The architects meticulously crafted this effect using mirrors, shadows, and a cantilevered structure. The ground floor’s mirrored surfaces reflect the sky and surroundings. This camouflages the building’s base and creates the impression of a floating box. This “box” is cantilevered 8.75 meters from the main structure. This enhances the illusion and allows for a reflection pond beneath. The pond further amplifies the sense of height and detachment. Even the ceiling lights play a role.
