\u6075\u5149\u5c71 \u5fb3\u8535\u5bfa, or Tokuzoji Temple. It is said to have been founded by the distant priest Chien-hsin. At that time it belonged to the Tendai sect. Time passed and the temple underwent a significant change. In the Muromachi period, specifically in Tenbun 3. The temple embraced Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji. This transition was guided by the 10th head priest of Hongwanji Temple, Shonyo. Now, Tokuzoji stands as a temple of the Hongwanji sect.
Before the war, Tokuzoji flourished. It was known for its well-maintained grounds. It also had a temple school called “Momoyo-kan.” This school was a center for educational and cultural activities. The temple actively contributed to the community’s cultural life.
