Kappa Delta, or KD as it’s affectionately known, wasn’t founded here in the Sunshine State. Its roots are firmly planted in the hallowed halls of Longwood University in Virginia. Founded in 1897, Kappa Delta is proudly one of the “Farmville Four,” a quartet of sororities born at that institution. But like many organizations with a strong sense of purpose, Kappa Delta spread its wings and soared across the nation. Today, it boasts over 160 collegiate chapters, each one dedicated to fostering those core values upon which it was built. And where does Orlando fit into this story?
