Paul Dussour born in Indre in 1900 worked at the Maison du prisonnier. A member of the MNRPGD since 1943 he was arrested on April 19 1944. He was deported to Dachau-Vaihingen on July 2. He died of exhaustion on November 27. Arno Klarsfeld father of the renowned Nazi hunter Serge Klarsfeld was 38 years old. He was born on January 20 1905 in Braila Romania. Arno was a member of the Combat movement particularly the GFR. Arrested on September 30 1943 during the large roundup of Jews organized by Alois Brunner he was deported to Drancy on October 2. Then he was sent to Auschwitz the following week where he was gassed in November.

The plaque itself a simple testament to their lives is located at 15 rue d’Italie. This was their residence during the occupation.
