The 1950s saw residents migrating westward. This led to a population boom in Olympia Heights. The neighborhood associations sprouted as early as 1958. They aimed to manage the rapid growth and advocate for a better quality of life. These associations championed improvements in traffic flow, lighting, recreational spaces, and the overall physical environment. In a fascinating contrast, Olympia Heights boasts a rich history rooted in faith. The United Methodist Church, since 1985, has been home to a full choir.
