The museum tells the story of a group of Cuban exiles, armed and trained by the CIA, who attempted to overthrow Fidel Castro’s regime. The invasion, poorly planned and executed, ended in disaster within 72 hours. Many exiles were captured, and some lost their lives. Their story is a stark reminder of the Cold War’s tumultuous times and the complexities of international relations.
