The original structure, built with simple materials like mud bricks and palm trunks, eventually gave way to more durable materials. Stone columns replaced palm trunks. Teakwood ceilings sheltered worshippers from the elements. Yet, despite these changes, Masjid Nafiae’s core purpose remained. It was a place where people could gather not just to pray but to connect with each other. Today, Masjid Nafiae continues to serve the community, a beacon of faith in the heart of Medina.
