Brunswick Parish Church

Nestled between Upper Brook Street and Ardwick Green roundabout stands Brunswick Parish Church. It’s a modern, red-brick structure, easily identified by the large, white letters proclaiming its name. Brunswick Parish Church isn’t your typical historical church. It was built to serve the surrounding social housing estates. The architecture is a unique blend of bold curves and angled volumes. Inside, warm light filters through a dynamic timber roof onto a dramatic arc of tiered seating. Brunswick Parish Church is more than just a place of worship. It’s a vibrant community hub, offering a range of services. Sunday services begin at 10:45 am. On the first Sunday of each month, the service is followed by a bring-and-share lunch. During the week, the “Positive Steps” Community Hub operates from Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 3 pm, providing support and advice to the local community. You can access the internet cafe during these hours. The church also has six laptops available and offers Wi-Fi. If you need help getting online or with a Universal Credit application, the staff are happy to assist. The vicar, Simon, extends a warm welcome to all. He jokingly pleads against getting the church grade two listed, encouraging everyone to simply pop in and experience the unique atmosphere of Brunswick Parish Church.
