Imagine joining fellow worshippers from across the globe, right here from Didsbury. Emmanuel, Didsbury sits beside Didsbury Library on Barlow Moor Road. It shares a unique partnership with St. James, forming a joint parish and working closely with other Didsbury churches. While St. James boasts medieval origins dating back to 1275, Emmanuel, Didsbury, built in 1858, has its own story to tell. Its extensive remodel in 1986 brought a modern touch to this historic building. Behind Emmanuel, Didsbury, you’ll find the Parish Centre. This building isn’t just for church activities. It’s the administrative heart of the St James & Emmanuel Academy Trust. This Trust oversees four local primary schools, connecting the church with the education of the next generation.
