Persborg is more than just housing. It’s a testament to mid-century urban planning. The location is strategic. It sits between the Continental Railway and Västra Kattarpsvägen. It’s north of Jägersrovägen. This placement provides excellent transportation links. It’s also relatively quiet. It’s removed from the city’s main thoroughfares.

Until 2011 Persborg had a railway station. This was a convenient stop on the line towards Ystad and Simrishamn. Trains to Copenhagen also passed through Persborg. They didn’t stop however. The City Tunnel’s opening changed things. The line to Ystad and Simrishamn was rerouted. It now runs through the tunnel. Freight trains still use the Continental Railway. They service Denmark and Trelleborg. In December 2018 Persborg station reopened. It now serves the Malmö commuter rail.
