This artist-run, non-commercial gallery has been showcasing the best of Swedish and international talent since its inception in 2003. Galleri CC’s journey began as CirkulationsCentralen, a name that reflected its mission to circulate ideas and foster connections in the art world. In 2015, the gallery underwent a transformation, adopting a new name and moving into a more spacious location that allowed them to reach a wider audience. It’s a testament to the gallery’s commitment to growth and evolution. Galleri CC has become a cultural beacon, attracting artists and art enthusiasts from across the globe. They have participated in prestigious art fairs like Supermarket Art Fair in Stockholm and Art Swap Europe in Berlin, and have collaborated with galleries in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Germany. The gallery’s commitment to fostering cross-cultural exchange and artistic dialogue is deeply rooted in its core values. The gallery hosts eight exhibition periods each year, offering a diverse range of solo and group exhibitions, as well as open calls. The current exhibition, ‘Någonting måste brinna för att växa / Burning to grow’ by Josefin Bergman, explores the powerful themes of transformation and rebirth through sculptures, installations, and collages. Josefin’s work draws inspiration from the legend of the Phoenix, a mythical bird that rises from its ashes, symbolizing renewal and resilience.
